Verdict

JIVRY could be anything and is worth following until she loses. Henry Candy's daughter of Generous is a half-sister to the wonderful Sergeant Cecil, and therefore she should only improve with her racing. Although not fancied for her debut at Nottingham she stormed clear for a runaway win and a mark of 82 could be manageable. Mingun Bell is well-handicapped after some poor runs but may find improvement now fitted with a pair of blinkers, Oriental Scot has something to prove over this longer trip, whilst Hidden Fire is a progressive filly and this daughter of Alhaarth could improve further now stepped up to ten furlongs. Sharedah never got near the leaders at Newmarket last time but with a drop of rain she would arouse some interest, although on a strict form line through Dolphina she has a bit to find with our selection. The only other horses to mention are Flotation who beat a subsequent winner at Chester in June, and Hulcote Rose who will appreciate the step back up in trip and she looks handicapped to win again.
