Verdict

Bualadh Croi has been in fine form on Polytrack and there's no reason why he shouldn't transfer his potential to Turf. Connor King will ensure he gets every assistance while Ana O'Brien has picked up a good ride on the in-form Vasoni, who will be suited by the ground though an 8lb rise for her latest success looks harsh. Jim Bolger runs both Quill And Vellum, still a maiden after a dozen starts, and Confident Cub, who has a similar profile but looks ready to win soon judging on his latest runs at Dundalk. SMOKE CHARGER has had little experience but is progressing with each run and can race from the same mark as when runner-up to Stronger Than Me at Leopardstown on Monday. He looks the one to be on in an open contest.
