        Verdict

        Brian Ellison's horses are running well so AL FREEJ, a winner over a mile at Lingfield and then just failing to catch School Fees over 6f at Doncaster last week, can gain her first success on Turf. Sardanapalus won a course and distance handicap in September and will be better for his reappearance at Catterick while another winner over the track and trip, Snow Bay, has slipped to a fair mark and also went well at Catterick. Shamrocked didn't take to hurdles over the winter but has won twice over this trip and should be respected along with Aerodynamic, whose last victory was from a mark just 1lb lower.
