Verdict

A competitive entry for this prize and SUN ON THE RUN can continue his progression up the ranks. The four-year-old has already posted two victories this season and in such rude form, he can graduate into Listed company with honours. Giovanni Boldini would be a big player if he can reproduce any of his juvenile form. Aidan O'Brien's colt was a little disappointing in the French 2000 Guineas but it would be folly to dismiss him on the basis of one modest run. Ger Lyons has saddled won two of the last five winners of this race so Piri Wango has to be respected on ground that suits and Tested will be hoping that the ground dries out after struggling on a softer surface in the Irish 1000 Guineas. Chicago Girl was second in the Park Stakes last term and is entitled to come on for her reappearance.
