Verdict

Guilsborough Gorse ran well enough in a handicap over course and distance earlier this month to gain the vote in a moderate hunters' chase and he gets the verdict over Geordies Express and Indien Du Boulay. The selection is no world-beater but a reproduction of that form behind Our Kev may suffice in this company. Geordies Express was not disgraced behind the useful Gun'n Roses at Haydock last time and is a consistent performer in this grade. He rates a bigger threat than recent point-to-point winner Indien du Boulay. Charlieadams gave little sign of encouragement in a recent point but makes more appeal than Penny Native, who has along absence to overcome in a race that should go to Guilsborough Gorse.
