There is a big field for the day’s feature sprint and a number are at the top of their game. Militia beat a subsequent winner at Chester 12 days ago and had Gowanbuster a length-and-a-quarter behind here previously, though the latter is now 8lb better off. Glory Fighter is another arriving on a hat-trick having won at Haydock and Chester. He beat PRIMO’S COMET in the first of those but Jim Goldie’s charge had excuses that day and is now a massive 9lb better off so could offer more value. Quanah and Royal Brave are starting to look well treated with Catterick winner Dream House preferred to stablemate Eeh Bah Gum on the forecast going. Mutabaahy is also worth a second look but the handicapper may have reeled in Canford Bay and Show Palace is not looking the force of old and is tried in a visor here.
