Orabas and Lucky Violet were engaged at Ayr on Monday. They both face a tough task if turning up here in a race of many chances with DONNELLY'S RAINBOW selected to follow up a recent course and distance victory. This is harder but he scored with a little in hand that day, travels well through his races and receives weight all round. Mujassam and Gabrial The Tiger are deserving of their place at the head of the weights as both are consistent, resolute types and merit places on the shortlist with the latter just preferred of the pair and seen as the main danger to our choice. The application of first-time cheekpieces and a first attempt at 7f combine to make Northernpowerhouse an interesting proposition too.
