Verdict

TOMERIC has improved with each run and followed a very good effort at Kilbeggan with a narrow defeat at Sligo. Normal progress will see him difficult to beat. Nibiru will be conceding him 12lb with Conor McNamara's claim taken into consideration which make prove too much though he's been racing in slightly better company. Cats For Cash has been disappointing since finishing runner-up at Kilbeggan in May while point-to-point winner Unexpected Depth probably needs further. Patrick Joseph made a promising hurdling debut at Sligo but then finished a long way last on this track.
