In depth

Verdict

Tony Martin's The Crazy Parson has shown improved form of late and a market move for him has to be of interest but the nine-year-old may be a shade high in the weights and preference is for Mister Jungle, with Whistle Blowing rated the pick of the remainder. The selection has dropped to decent mark and took advantage of that and the ease in surface when successful over course and distance last time. An 8lb rise in the weights may not prevent Sue Bradburne's gelding from following up. John Wade's Shulmin ran promisingly at Sedgefield last time and has claims off her low weight along, while Stoneriggs Merc could probably do with some help from the handicapper. Whistle Blowing has shown that he handles cut in the ground and has slipped to an attractive mark so has to be considered but a safer bet looks to be Mister Jungle, who is preferred.
