Verdict

This should not take a great deal of winning and, having shown a liking for testing conditions, Mick Easterby's Pertemps Networks is given the vote to resume winning ways, getting the verdict ahead of Strathaird and Sunquest. The last mentioned has every chance on the pick of his form but that is all on a faster surface, so Chris Grant's gelding may be best watched on today's surface. Bobansheil won a novice selling hurdle well enough at Sedgefield two starts ago and has claims on that evidence but was disappointing at Catterick last time and now looks best watched. Richard Guest's Hall of Fame is a proven soft ground performer and has to be respected, while Strathaird is better than he showed behind Bobansheil last time. Pertemps Networks has an obvious chance in a moderate contest though and he is preferred.
