In depth

Verdict

A trappy claimer here with very little between many of the leading lights and the principals look to be Wahoo Sam, Little Jimbob and Ballyhurry and the tentative nomination is given to Wahoo Sam. The selection is best when allowed to dominate in small fields and although he is not well in at the weights with Little Jimbob he looks sure to get the run of the race and he is given the vote. Little Jimbob won well in similar grade last time out when beating Everst. That horse has since ran well in defeat and he will not be far away. Ballyhurry won well last time when beating Neil's Legacy but that was in a seller and this looks tougher. Of the remainder Primo Way is another dropping in grade but he would be better off in a handicap and for the winner we return to Wahoo Sam.
