In depth

Verdict

Perennial won a claimer at Wolverhampton in October but it's been sometime since he scored on Turf. Merchant Of Dubai won over 1m6f here at this time last year and has leading claims having made the frame at this track last month. Corton Lad has also been placed at this venue on his last couple of starts and finished practically upsides with last week's runner-up NORTHSIDE PRINCE. But the latter has the advantage today with Megan Nicholls claiming 5lb and he gets the vote.
