Verdict

None of these are easily dismissed but recent course and distance winner Outlaw Torn and Dhaular Dhar both step up a couple of grades. Never Forever and Shadowtime look high enough in the weights, despite recent placed efforts, but Cravat went close off his current mark at Brighton last time. Pontefract winner Border Bandit and Karaka Jack both have claims, but top weight BARAWEEZ will appreciate the faster surface after encountering heavy going at Beverley last time and this looks slightly easier than the race he won at Ayr in April.
