Verdict

John Ferguson wouldn't be best known for training hunters but he's had Dreamy George for a long time and the nine-year-old looked a decent novice when scoring at Fakenham last March. He's run very poorly in two subsequent starts but wouldn't be coming on this long journey without prospects. Ian Ferguson enjoys considerable success in this sphere and WALDEN looks another winner for the yard. He was in fine form at this time last year and came here 10 days ago to run well behind the prolific point-to-point winner Current Event, who is fancied for the Foxhunter at Cheltenham. Nowurhurlin has won three times in this grade including at Kelso last month. He's not the most consistent but at his best would have to be considered. Drom has won nine times between the flags but hasn't been in the best of form recently.
