In depth

Verdict

Ardmillan scored over this trip between the flags and wasn't stopping when completing a double over 2m5f at Fairyhouse. A 9lb rise makes this more difficult but he should still be thereabouts. One Cool Clarkson was only three lengths behind him on this track in December and will be fancied to reverse the form on the revised terms. MR SHANKLY was having his first start since June and making his debut for John Feane when scoring over that same Fairyhouse trip last month. He was well supported and a 5lb rise is unlikely to make much difference so he can complete a quick double. The prolific hunter Davy From Milan was making his handicap debut when beating a strong field at Navan and, with more to offer, has to be a threat. Katnap hasn't done badly since arriving from France though might be a few pounds high and Aurora Bell makes his handicap debut after a couple of fair efforts in hunter chases.
