In depth

Verdict

Open Warfare has been knocking on the door of late and is warrants plenty of respect here. However, he is yet to win beyond six furlongs and has a little to prove despite his favourable draw. Therefore a chance is taken that Eastern Venture can build on the promise of his reappearance effort at Beverley last week and gain that illusive first racecourse win. High Sun always gives a good account of himself and is one who may represent some value for a place in a race that will not live long in the memory.
