Verdict

TAP NIGHT looked a useful prospect two years ago but hasn't really kicked on. However, this is probably his easiest task for a while as he can race off a 6lb lower mark than when third in a Grade 3 over fences at Cheltenham at the start of the year so he gets a tentative vote. The lightly-raced Mountain Fighter was placed on soft going on the Flat and could easily bounce back from a poor run at Cheltenham while it's hard to knock the form figures of Gingili, though he'll need to have improved again since last seen in May to land this. Kilbeggan maiden winner Bright Prospect has his first run for new connections while Donna's Pride returns from a break. But Landecker has his ground and could figure if a visor has the desired effect.
