      Verdict

      Nuts Well was fancied for the opener yesterday at Kelso which probably leaves winning pointer What Happens Now, second in a bumper at Sedgefield on his debut under Rules, as the main threat to FAGAN. Gordon Elliott's gelding has won three point-to-points and two bumpers and should be a force to be reckoned with over timber. Captain Redbeard is improving with experience but Sky Full Of Stars may need more time and Away For Slates is likely to do better when going handicapping.
