Verdict

There may not have been much to choose between Character Onesie and Chookie Royale at Sedgefield had the former not fallen two out. Both won on the Flat but the latter is going jumping late in life. HEARTASIA has more scope and, though Susan Corbett’s dual bumper winner will benefit from a step up in distance in time, she showed enough here on her debut to suggest she can figure in a race like this if she brushes up her jumping. Jim Goldie had a winner here on New Year’s Day but Arizona Bound showed little at Kelso so Lucinda Russell’s pair Kelpies Myth and The Road Home may be the pick of the remainder.
