In depth

Verdict

Any Given Moment had Capellanus and Arctic Court behind when recording a rare victory over course and distance on New Year's Day but will do well to follow up in this from 7lb out of the handicap. Golden Plan and Pay The King also carry more than their allotted weight but are partnered by 5lb claimers. Crowning Jewel has had a short break but had some decent form in the autumn and did finish ahead of Monetary Fund at Haydock in November, though the latter is better off at the weights today and only 2lb higher than when winning over track and trip last season. MISTER DILLON travelled strongly throughout when winning at Doncaster last time. Providing the ground gets no softer, he is worth a bet here off a 7lb higher mark with Barry Geraghty taking over the reins. Attaglance has been struggling over fences but had some very smart form over timber a couple of years ago and is not without hope.
