In depth

Verdict

GOOD TRIP gets the nod as he won over a mile at Jebel Ali last month and has performed well in two strong handicaps here, the latest when runner-up over 1m2f a fortnight ago when staying on strongly. Elleval and Majeed were behind but both can do better over this longer trip. Prize Money made a successful debut at Newmarket in 2015 and ran in strong company as a three-year-old including a close second in Group 3 company at Ascot and he ended the campaign winning the November Handicap. Gold Trail also ended his season winning at Doncaster and he'd been in very good form in tough handicaps throughout the campaign. Khusoosy has a fine strike-rate and landed a Group 3 at Abu Dhabi in March when Rembrandt Van Rijn finished a close third and is 2lb better off. Desert God, a top class performer in India, started favourite for his debut here three weeks ago but never looked like winning after missing the break.
