In depth

Verdict

REROUTED was having just his second run for almost a year when scoring over 7f on Tapeta two weeks ago and is probably better over today's track and trip. The handicapper hasn't been harsh with a 3lb rise and he can go in again. Mike De Kock also runs Anaerobio, runner-up in this last year but not in that kind of form at present, and Final Button, who has steadily improved and looks on a fair mark. This will be Mikhail Glinka's fourth Carnival and he was good enough to land a very strong Group 2 here last March though may just need today's run. Masteroftherolls had Burano just behind when scoring over the C&D three weeks ago and the pair have to be respected. Quick Wit will be better for a recent run and scored here just over a year ago while Mustaheel has missed the kick on both starts here this year and has some strong form in France to his credit.
