Verdict

Saeed Bin Suroor saddles three and Frankie Dettori is on board Grand Vent, who makes his debut here. A Group 2 winner at Longchamp for Andre Fabre, he's the obvious class act in the line-up but may just need this after a long break. Stablemate Quick Wit ran poorly last time after an impressive victory three weeks earlier but Masteroftherolls has been in very good form and should appreciate stepping up to this trip for the first time. Mike De Kock complicates matters by saddling Anaerobio and Rerouted, who have both been running well enough to consider but a chance is taken on UNUSUAL SUSPECT, a Grade 1 winner in the USA who caught the eye on his introduction here behind Zanzamar last month, his first start since a fine effort in the Melbourne Cup.
