In depth

Verdict

Mister Wiseman has struggled from his revised weight after completing a Uttoxeter double last autumn and though O Crotaigh loves it around here he's another hit hard by the assessor after his two victories on this track at the turn of the year. Cool Operator has been climbing the weights without winning and Karingreason is 6lb higher than when scoring at Catterick in December. Frosted Grape is definitely well handicapped if anywhere near her best but she was in poor form when last seen in the autumn so it's MIDNIGHT SAIL who gets the nod as this once useful hurdler showed his best form for some time behind Time Out at Doncaster earlier this month.
