In depth

Verdict

Houseparty made a decent racecourse debut behind Call Back at Newcastle in December and was taking on better company when disappointing at Newbury a month later. Vintage Times made a reasonable start on good ground at Doncaster in January but couldn't handle much softer conditions at Newcastle last month. SCARLET FIRE was almost 12l behind Big Water when making his debut at Ayr but comprehensively reversed the form with that dual winner on quicker ground at Newcastle and should prove too good for these. Yes Daddy is by Golan out of a well connected mare and is one to note in the betting as he makes his debut.
