Verdict

MONT DES AVALOIRS had Grade 1 entries at Aintree this week but connections have opted for this much easier alternative. Third behind Summerville Boy and Kalashnikov in the Tolworth Hurdle in January, he made mistakes when favourite and only fourth in a Grade 2 at Kempton subsequently but this is a big drop in class. The King Of May has been highly tried since arriving from France but has plenty to find on official ratings. Mon Eldorado is having a first run for Peter Bowen and Run For Eva looks to be well outside of her comfort zone.
