Verdict

Thanks For Coming will no doubt attract support to complete an opening race double for the Henderson/McCoy partnership but though the five-year-old will have come on for his hurdling debut at Doncaster this looks a tougher event. It's difficult to know what to make of Alan King's French import Soir D'Estruval, a winner over 2m4f at Vichy in August, but he's definitely one to keep an eye on as is Attaglance, a C&D winner in November before finding 2m1f too short at Bangor. Risaala was an impressive winner over 2m5f at Huntingdon but had no answer to Lifestyle's pace over the minimum trip at Leicester. This will be more to her liking but it's BOTTMAN who gets the vote. Tim Vaughan's charge, a bumper winner at Chepstow last April, looked a very promising type when comfortably beating Redbridge Flyer at Towcester last month and is the type to go on to better things.
