Verdict

This looks a match between the two previous winners with ROLLING MAUL narrowly preferred to Gabrial The Great. The latter won on the bridle at Aintree last month and still has plenty of scope but Peter Bowen's gelding was very impressive here last time and may just have the edge. The others look to be playing for places but Cyclone, a dual winner on the Flat in Ireland, is surely better than he showed at Stratford.
