Verdict

Lac Sacre remains in fine form having won over hurdles since beating Bute Street over 2m at Chepstow last month. But the latter is preferred on this occasion as he re-opposes on better terms and won this in 2012. HIGHLIFE DANCER scored in soft ground at Leicester in between defeats on faster going. If the surface doesn't dry out, Mick Channon's charge can return to winning ways off the same mark. Well Owd Man is 8lb higher than April's win at Wolverhampton and Ice Apple makes more appeal on her recent second at Yarmouth.
