Verdict

Second over track and trip last December, LEGENDS GOLD is finally starting to fulfil her potential. She won easily over 2m at Stratford in April and was equally impressive on soft going on her reappearance at Bangor. She has to give 12lb to her rivals but is still heading in the right direction. There are a couple of hurdling newcomers worth noting, however, especially Redbridge Gold who beat two subsequent hurdle winners in a Doncaster bumper last season. Shantou Sunset has also won a bumper but may have to settle for a place in this.
