Sophar Sogood won a handicap over a mile before finding one too good in a higher grade than this over track and trip a week ago with Prestigious back in fourth. He should figure again in this company while Big Boris showed a big improvement at Chepstow on his handicap bow and steps up in distance but Lexington Quest and Chateau Peapod have made little impression in handicaps so far with the latter’s best effort coming over a mile. MASTER ROCCO has failed to figure over shorter trips so far but has a stamina-packed pedigree and may prove to be much better than we’ve seen so far stepping up from 6f with an apprentice’s 5lb allowance in his favour.
