Moscow Gold has hit form at the right time and can pay to follow, with Uncle Max, Pristeen Spy, Justino and Sitting Duck seen as just a few potential threats. Moscow Gold has had his problems in the past, but connections have had him fired and he seems to have improved dramatically this season. The eight-year-old chased home Jolly Boy at Hereford and proved that was no fluke by opening his career account at Folkestone eight days ago. He did not beat much but did it nicely, jumping well enough, and looks well enough treated still to support again today. Uncle Max did not impress with his jumping on his chase debut at Chepstow and has plenty of weight, while Pristeen Spy is at the other end of the scale and has more experience over the bigger obstacles, but has been mixing it with platers. Justino was a beaten favourite over hurdles at Wincanton and is best watched on his chasing introduction. Sitting Duck looks held by the selection on a line through Jolly Boy, and Moscow Gold should really be capable of adding to his tally.
