In depth

Verdict

Gazump, Red Brook Lad and Honest Yer Honour are the three to consider here, with Red Brook Lad taken to score. Honest Yer Honour put some disappointing efforts behind him when scoring at Aintree in May, but he may just lack for fitness having not been seen since. Gazump won at Newbury two years ago and shaped well at Newbury last time. That was an improved performance and he cannot be ruled out. Red Brook Lad won five times last season and may have needed his re-appearance run at Wincanton. he will be fitter for that, and Red Brook Lad can arrive late on the scene and take this.
