Flying Spur, Monash Lad and Heisse are the three to look at here and Flying Spur is taken to come out on top. A winner at Windsor and Brighton on the Flat, Monash Lad is taking a drop in class here, and was recently placed in a novice contest. He must have a live chance in this grade. Heisse is more exposed but has shaped well in this grade, finishing a good second in a seller on Boxing Day. Heisse can play a part here but may once again find one too good. Flying Spur shaped well in a novice hurdle a year ago but has not fulfilled that promise over fences. Hailing from the David Pipe yard, he is taking a drop in grade here and Flying Spur can prove too sharp for his rivals.
