In depth

Verdict

Kedgeree was not beaten far in a race that has worked out relatively well at Huntingdon on his only previous start and has to be respected but Henry Daly's horses have generally been needing the run and a better bet may be Seismic Shift, who is preferred to Darn Him. The last mentioned was well beaten on his Uttoxeter debut but cannot be ruled out being trained by Nigel Twiston-Davies who has done well with his runners in this grade all season. Saxon Leader was not beaten far on his only previous start at Haydock and has to be considered along with Owen Brennan's Ellerslie Lisa but marginal preference is for Seismic Shift. Admittedly the selection has yet to race but Henrietta Knights horses are running well right now and he would not need to be out of the ordinary to take this.
