FAIRYLAND should take the world of beating in this contest, Markila appeals as the rival likeliest to chase her home although My Rebecca is an unknown quantity. She's rated 12lbs higher than her nearest rival and there's no reason to doubt the handicapper's assessment following her victory at Doncaster. She laid to rest any doubts about her attitude in the finish with that victory and has been found a soft race in which to follow up. Markila ran away from the field over course and distance earlier in the season and has performed creditably since but with her limitations exposed. If the favourite runs to form then second is the best that she can hope for which is more than can be said for Night Reveller and the inapproprioately named Will Exell. My Rebecca is a half-sister to the useful Bonchester Bridge so is worth considering but she'll need to be every bit as good as her sibling to get the better of Fairyland on debut.
