Verdict

Ransom Note was a Group 2 and Group 3 winner on the Flat but hasn't run for more than two years. COMMUNICATOR was also a smart performer on the level. He made mistakes when only fifth at Newbury in December but his run behind Josses Hill at that track last season suggests he should have too much for these if jumping better today. Sweeping Rock made a promising start behind Buckwheat at Catterick and is open to improvement while Mighty Missile was only beaten a length-and-a-half over track and trip six weeks ago. Arthamint won a bumper here in December but this is quite a tough start over timber.
