In depth

Verdict

With a field of 18 set to face the starter there could be some each way value to be had here, but we think the most likely winner is BABY RUN, with the likely rivals Kaldouas and It's Like That. Baby Run was a decent second last time out in his first run for three years. Previously he had a decent career both chasing and hurdling, and seems to set a decent standard here, although much of the form isn't exactly recent. Jamie Snowden's Kaldouas drops down to a trip at which he's won before; this is his first outing since July when something seemed to go wrong. If fit, he's certainly the ability to land this. It's Like That was a fortuitous winner at Bangor last year and couldn't follow that up. Several of these have had lengthy lay-offs, but none as long as Von Origny. A previous chase winner, this is his first outing for nearly three years. There look to be a fair number here that many wouldn't give a chance to, but the one with solid claims to our mind is Baby Run.
