Verdict

This looks a better than average maiden for the track but it's difficult to get away from the chances of LE PREZIEN, who chased home the very smart Yanworth on his UK debut for Paul Nicholls at Warwick. Casper King did very well in bumpers at Market Rasen and Sandown and should make a nice hurdler while Flamenco Lad has shown enough to suggest he'll be winning before long. Monkhouse battled to victory in a Bangor bumper in the spring but it's winning point-to-pointer Super Scorpion who can follow the selection home as he produced a cracking effort behind the odds-on Wishfull Dreaming at Worcester and should do even better on the softer ground.
