Verdict

A poor bumper to conclude proceedings and PRESENT TO YOU is the obvious choice to see off The Fox's Decree, while Misty Kit can probably complete the frame. The last-named is one of two Mark Brisbourne representatives in the race and has had three quiet enough bumper runs so far. She has gone well enough in defeat to suggest that she might have the ability to bring home a bit of prize money here, though she will probably be better from a punting perspective in low-grade handicaps. The Fox's Decree has had just one run so far, finishing down the field in a Doncaster bumper in January 2008. He has changed hands to Timmy Vaughan since then, and with the trainer's reputation for improving them, we are likely to see more today. However, he is by Diktat and so may come into his own when the ground softens. Most of the others have shown nothing to recommend them just yet, and we will side with Present To You.
