Verdict

Native Chancer, Castlemore and Donald are three against the field in this competitive novices hurdle and the confident vote goes to Native Chancer. The selection has shown improved form on each run and a reproduction of his latest second behind Harry Blade in a bumper would make him hard to beat. He is sure to have been well schooled for this his hurdling debut and under conditions that suit he is taken to score. Castlemore rates the main danger on his latest third behind Football Crazy but that was with more cut in the ground and this faster surface is not sure to suit. Donald made all to win well a couple of runs ago but he was allowed an easy lead on that occasion and has since disappointed and he may be taken on from the start her so he is overlooked here. Mister Moussac is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he will do well to win under his penalty. Of the remainder Lady of Scarvagh is from a yard in form and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Native Chancer.
