In depth

Verdict

Cantarinho still has age on his side and, provided that he comes on for his recent return at Fakenham, should be too good for his rivals here with the pick of them looking to be Mister Friday and Lord Nellerie. The last mentioned has not been seen since winning a non-thoroughbred race in France in September and may be best watched on his debut for Brendan Powell. Good Bone has given little sign of encouragement of late, while Lord Youky has the ability to play a part but has a long absence to overcome. Mister Friday is better than he showed at Wetherby last month but the one they all have to beat is Cantarinho, who showed decent form without winning in hunter chases last term and with improvement to come from his reappearance Cantarinho should be too good for his rivals.
