In depth

Verdict

Many of these arrive from the point-to-point scene and are unknown quantities. They include Vics Canvas, who looked quite promising when scoring at Loughbrickland in March but has fallen on either side of that success. Regal Ambition has just had the one run between the flags but looks the type to do well at this game and Nina Carberry is a positive booking while Ballydurn and Dromahane winner Gurtacrue made a promising start in a Tipperary bumper when fourth in a big field. Colin Bowe looks to have yet another useful performer in LIVELY LASS, who followed her two easy victories between the flags with a debut bumper success at Wexford where she stayed on very strongly despite swishing her tail close home. Baresi ran quite well at Limerick last time and looks a threat in a race where the market should prove a good guide.
