Verdict

Getareason was impressive at Downpatrick but was taking on better company at Punchestown and could only stay on at one pace into third. He'll be thereabouts again but the concession of 13lb, including Mark O'Hare's claim, to THE RED MENACE looks beyond him. Noel Meade's four-year-old probably didn't have much to beat at Sligo but couldn't have done it any easier and today's extra 2f are in his favour. Macgiloney battled to victory in a Kilbeggan bumper before a decent effort over hurdles so his experience should stand him in good stead while On His Toes will have needed last month's comeback, his first start since scoring at Tramore in October.
