      Verdict

      Duke Of Clarence has been a losing favourite on both his starts and gets a claimer on board today to help his cause. Boris The Bold wasn't disgraced on his recent debut at Kempton, but he finished around four lengths behind SAFARI SUNSEEKER, who was beaten less than a length himself. The latter won't have to improve much on that to come out best in this and Bill Knight's charge gets the nod to open his account. Newcomer Daphne Joy makes no appeal on breeding and the rest have plenty to find.
