Verdict

Bancnuanaheireann was well beaten in the Cambridgeshire in September along with MASTER THE WORLD (NAP). But the latter has been placed in Listed company on a couple of occasions subsequently, including the Churchill Stakes over course and distance earlier this month, and David Elsworth’s charge should have the edge on Battalion on these terms. Last year’s winner went close in a Group 3 at Dundalk last time and has since joined Jamie Osborne. The remainder have a tough task at the weights, though Pinzolo and Manson ran well in decent handicaps on their latest starts and are preferred to Ready and Somethingthrilling.
