In depth

Verdict

Golden Compass made all to score over C&D in July but similar tactics here could set the race up for DIAMOND VINE. He caught the eye finishing with a late rattle at Bath last week when beaten less than a length in fifth and the handicapper has given him a chance dropping him 2lb in the weights. Courtland Avenue also went close at Bath in June but ran a shocker when a losing favourite at Newmarket last time and Wiltshire Life has struggled since winning at Kempton back in April. Yarmouth winner Speedyfix looks best of the rest.
