Verdict

A winner at Brighton last week, Compton Crofter may be undone by a penalty and today's longer trip. Joyful Spirit and Lone Foot Laddie both have bits of form that entitle them to consideration, though they'll need to step up on recent efforts to come out best and SUEDEHEAD is preferred. The latter showed a big improvement when a close-up fifth at Wolverhampton last time and this extra test of stamina can see Bill Muir's filly off the mark on her handicap debut.
