      Verdict

A maximum turnout for this Classified Stakes race and Acorazado, who finally consented to put his best foot forward at Southwell earlier this week, looks sure to go well if in the same frame of mind but we prefer the chance of course specialist Kinsman who is sure to be all the better for his recent outing, his first for five months. The selection hasn't got his head in front since winning a handicap here (off a mark of 83), for nearly three years and although he is clearly some way below that now, he should still be capable of making his presence felt in this company. Acorazado has more ability than he sometimes cares to show, but this former Willie Haggas-trained four-year-old showed what he was capable of when coming from last to first at Southwell earlier this week. Although he has yet to shine at this trip, it should suit his style of racing. A Woman In Love is effective around here and has the beating of Acorazado on their running here earlier this month. However, the latter looks in better form now and there may not be that much between them this time. Pancakehill has gone well here in the past, but may find this trip on the sharp side after a lay off, while Zagla landed a gamble in good style at Wolverhampton last week and may be capable of better than she has shown so far, but Kinsman reserves his best for here and can make the most of this drop in class.
