In depth

Verdict

After a good run at Newmarket, Alfredo easily landed the odds back here two weeks ago. He’s now won his last three on the all-weather but has a 9lb rise to contend with today and is giving 12lb to CHARISMATIC MAN (NAP). Ralph Beckett’s three-year-old takes a further step up in distance after winning over 1m4f at Wolverhampton but has a terrific pedigree and should have more to offer. Saborido is consistent and preferred to Cotton Club but is hard to win with. El Campeon beat hot favourite High Command over 1m6f at Wolverhampton so can’t be ignored and jumper Tindaro isn’t badly treated on past form on the Flat.
